Canavar
Canavar is a Turkish street artist from Gebze in northwestern Turkey. He is known for provocative and challenging artworks that do not aim to please. In English, Canavar means "Monster".
A central element in his work is the cockroach, inspired by Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis. He uses it to symbolize alienation, marginalization, and the harsh side of urban life, reflecting themes of not belonging and the individual's struggle within societal pressures.
The reason for this isn’t actually because I feel like a stranger but because those around me make me feel like one. This is because if you feel that your attitude of mind functions differently from those around you, or if it appears that way, you are seen as the other, and you might be labelled a "lost person".
