Europäischer Seestör

Der Europäische Stör (Acipenser Sturio) kommt in Südwestfrankreich und Westgeorgien vor und wird in seinem gesamten Verbreitungsgebiet gemäß dem Endangered Species Act (IUCN Red List) als gefährdet aufgeführt. Einst war es in Küstengebieten im gesamten Schwarzen Meer und insbesondere in Georgien reichlich vorhanden und steht jetzt am Rande des Aussterbens. Ich habe dieses Thema speziell für das Wandgemälde am Schulgebäude gewählt, um das Bewusstsein für gefährdete Arten in der jüngeren Generation zu schärfen und hoffe, dass es zu ihrer Zukunft beitragen wird. 🐟

The European Sturgeon (Acipenser Sturio) is found in southwestern France and western Georgia and is listed as endangered throughout its range under the Endangered Species Act (IUCN Red List). Once it was formerly abundant, being found in coastal habitats all over Black sea and especially in Georgia and now on the brink of extinction. I chose this topic specially for the Mural on the school building to raise the awareness about endangered Species in the younger Generation and hope it will contribute to its future. 🐟
