This mural depicts a real Belarusian girl with her newborn child who followed her husband to Tbilisi after he fled Belarus. She wears a dress made from the patterns of Belarusian hand-painted carpet, this is customarily given as a holiday gift. The background consists of Georgian folk patterns from various fields of art namely weaving, ceramics and jewelry. It was created in gratitude to Georgia for its hospitality in accepting Belarusians.
